Pieces (2006)
Abbie's two friends couldn't resist to discover a secret that are being kept from Abbie.
Once the secret is out, they meet Queenie and Quinten, a witch and a warlock who are the most dangerous threat to the Deaf community.
What will they do to Abbie? Can Priscilla and Glenn stop them before it's too late?
"Pieces" was first written in 1996, after I made "The Visitor" (1994). The title was not orginally called "Pieces", it was called "The Wizard Game". I wasn't happy with the title, so it was then changed to "The Search for the Lost Cards", but then changed again to "The Hazy Game."
The characters were originally three teenagers and two wizards.
The script and half-finished storyboard were forgotten, kept in the folder in my cupboard for several years.
Toward to the end of 2005, almost 10 years later, I dug up my old things and found the script and the half-finished storyboard. I re-read it and decided to "polish" up the story so I re-wrote it. The characters then changed to two young Deaf adults and a Deaf girl. I changed the characters of the two wizards to a witch and a warlock to make them more "cruelsome".
It was now called, "Pieces".

After a few drafts I decided that was it. I started collecting stuff for the film - like costumes, the puzzle game and magic potions just to name a few. I started asking friends if they would be to be involved in the film making. I am extremely lucky to have a bunch of great friends who are happy to be involved, either as an actor or as a film crew.
We filmed "Pieces" on the weekends and it took us about seven months to finish filming. I also did some rough cut of the film during that time.
"Pieces" was completed in early October and it was screened for the first time to the public on Saturday 14th October 2006.
The film then released on DVD with extra features like behind the scenes and bloopers.
IIn 2016, the film was re-edited into a shorter version and released on YouTube. You can enjoy it by watching the video below
